Luke Barnett
Since 1985, Luke Barnett, along with his team of experts, has developed a business synonymous with quality crown and bridge production, which has become renowned for its pursuit of the beautiful smile. Luke is currently Chairman of the Laboratory Committee for the BACD and on the advisory panel for the DLA.
Rahul Doshi
Rahul Doshi and Ashish Parmar are the award winning dentists from Extreme Makeover UK. They are international lecturers and Presidents of Perfect Smile Academy, and have both have built successful strategies in converting predominantly NHS patients to accept high end private dentistry.
They are widely featured in the national press, as well as have published articles in many of the international and national dental press; they have extensive knowledge in Smile Design Dentistry, Occlusion and TMJ, Implantology, and photography skills that sell.
Martin Fulford
Martin Fulford has spent 17 years working as a general dental practitioner in the UK. During this time he managed to combine clinical dentistry with research, mainly in the field of infection control. Martin is active in research and is currently part of a team investigating the possibility of the transmission of vCJD via contaminated dental instruments. Martin is also a scientific adviser, with a particular interest in infection control, to the British Dental Association.
John Kanca
Dr John Kanca, III, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He maintains a private practice in Middlebury, Connecticut, with the emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, Dr Kanca has published over 50 original articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of the American Dental Association, Journal of Aesthetic Dentistry, Quintessence International, Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Journal of Dentistry, and the Journal of Dental Research.
Dr Kanca’s work has revolutionised the field of adhesive dentistry. He gave validation to etching f dentin with phosphoric acid, proved that resins can be used as pulp capping agents, discovered the concept known as wet-bonding and has contributed significantly to the understanding of how resins attach to dentin. Some of his latest work involves the best method of initiating light-activated resin composites in order to create the lowest interfacial stresses, and has created the protocol known as ‘pulse activation.’
Dr Kanca has invented a no-rinse adhesive system, a revolutionary ceramic primer and holds numerous patents.
Dr Kanca has received many honours, including the Gordon Christensen Awards from the Chicago Dental Society, the Albert Knab Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, the William Gies Award from the First District Dental Society of New York, the Larry Pearson Award from the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American Academy of Aesthetic Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Kanca is an active member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and has lectured at every major meeting in the United States and around the world.
Bob Khanna

Dr Bob Khanna is a cosmetic and reconstructive dental surgeon. He runs clinics in Ascot, Harley Street and Manchester, and carries out a full
spectrum of treatments from aesthetic dentistry, surgical implantology and bone regeneration procedures to full-mouth rehabilitation. He was the first dentist in Europe to venture into facial aesthetic procedures utilising BotoxTM and dermal fillers over 11 years ago. Internationally renowned as a leading lecturer, trainer and expert in aesthetic medicine, Dr Khanna has trained over 5,000 doctors, dentists and plastic surgeons in non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures and has pioneered many of the techniques. Bob Khanna

Shortly after, due to his unparalleled success with such treatments, he pioneered the concept of hands-on training courses for other medical and dental professional colleagues.
In 2003 Dr Khanna was awarded with a Fellowship from the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics in New York. He has written many articles in dental and medical journals and has been invited to sit on the scientific board of the International Dental Tribune (published in 60 countries and 17 languages)
He is founder and President of the highly acclaimed International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) which is supported by many internationally accomplished dentists, doctors, plastic surgeons and dermatologists.
Jimmy Makdissi
Jimmy Makdissi, DDS, PGD (OMFS), MMedSc, FDSRCS (Eng.) DDRRCR joined Queen Mary University of London in November 2004. He obtained his fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999, and he completed his higher training in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at Guy?s Hospital in London and obtained the Diploma of Dental Radiology from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2004. Jimmy delivers didactic and clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, senior house officers and medical and dental Specialist Registrars. He also teaches on the fellowship and membership programmes at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He sat on the education committee of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Michael Norton

Dr Michael Norton BDS graduated at the University of Wales Dental School in 1988. He obtained a basic training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cardiff, St Thomas Hospital London and the Royal London Hospital. Since 1990, Michael has dedicated all his clinical and post-graduate time to the practice and study of implant dentistry and runs a full-time dedicated implant practice in Harley Street.He is Honorary Associate Specialist to the Departments of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Charing Cross Hospital, London and at Bedford General Hospital and is a consultant to one of the world’s leading implant manufacturers. Michael is known to play a major role in the education and training of his peers, and is the current chairman of the Association of Dental Implantology. He lectures internationally, and is well published in the implant literature. His internationally acclaimed Quintessence textbook: Dental Implants - A guide for the General Practitioner, was the first on this subject by a British clinician.
James Russell
James Russell is a senior associate at The London Smile Clinic. He is a director and accredited member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. James is a member of both the BACD and AACD, lectures on a regular basis and is a director of Straight-Talk Seminars (find out more at www.straight-talks.com). James Russell

James Russell has been awarded the highly prestigious British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) accreditation in recognition of excellence in cosmetic dentistry, the youngest dentist to achieve this and one of only eight in the UK.
James’s work has been widely published in the dental press and he regularly lectures and instructs dentists on the art and science of cosmetic dentistry both in the UK and abroad, recently he has helped develop new techniques with the Inman Aligner to promote the ethical provision of cosmetic dentistry.
His opinions and skills are increasingly featured in magazines, on radio and since 2009 James has been the dental expert providing advice and treatment on Channel 4’s highly popular, prime-time, Embarrassing Bodies programme.
James is also a director of Straight Talk Seminars, the official providers of the Inman Aligner Certification course.
